While in Hendersonville, we did have a couple of outings.  To walk off our Thanksgiving dinner, we strolled to a nearby waterfall.

On our last day in Hendersonville, we walked to Carl Sandburg’s house.  Rather than going in the house, however, we went to the adjacent barn where his wife Lillian used to raised prize winning goats.  They still have the descendants of the prize winning goats and they continue to win prizes and allow little girls to pet them as much as they want.
