The kids had a great Christmas. They must have watched “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer” at least a dozen times and were thrilled with what Santa left for them on Christmas day.
On Christmas morning, the girls woke up bright and early- but Chloe Jane refused to go downstairs to see the gifts Santa had left until she had changed into her favorite Christmas dress and had her hair brushed into a ponytail. Cara ran happily downstairs in her jammies as soon as CJ permitted her.
Chloe Jane’s requests of Santa never changed: she wanted a Spiderman watch and a “small stuffed mermaid.” Cara’s requests never changed either: “Me too!”
Chloe Jane was worried that Santa wouldn’t bring Tommy anything because Tommy couldn’t make any Christmas requests. She was delighted to see his stocking stuffed full (he couldn’t care less–he was just interested in all the lights and laughter).
