One afternoon while eating lunch in Destin, we noticed a pirate ship in the harbor! The Buccaneer Pirate Cruise took kids out around the harbor and engaged them with all manner of pirate activities. We booked passage and fortunately for Tommy, we brought along his pirate costume. All three kids had a great time and the captain and crew stayed in character the whole cruise. It was a highlight of the week.

It wasn’t all fun and games though. They had to swab the deck.
There was pirate face painting.
At one point, the pirate ship found sunken treasure!!

Of course, pirating can make you hot and hungry so we had to get ice cream afterwards.
