St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin. The streets were packed with green-clad people lined up for the parade.
After we had enough of the parade and the crowd, we sought out the statue of Phil Lynott, front man for Thin Lizzy of “Jailbreak” and “The Boys are Back in Town” fame. Before U2 and the Frames, Thin Lizzy was the break out popular band from Ireland.
Next, we went to a park with a statue of Oscar Wilde. Not your typical statue but seems to be a fitting tribute.
This bridge is a tribute to Samuel Beckett and its meant to look like a harp laid on its side. A unique bridge design.
