On our first day, we caught a boat behind our hotel room for the short trip to Hollywood Studios.
Karen gave us a great tip a few weeks before our trip and told us about a Star Wars ride and the Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios. We had to get there as soon as the place opens, but they take trainees or padawans on a first come, first serve basis. Fortunately, we got there early enough to get all three signed up for Jedi training.
At the appointed time, they outfitted our little padawans with Jedi training robes and a training light saber. They taught them certain moves including aiming for legs, arms and head as well as evasive maneuvers like ducking to save your own neck. During the training, Darth Vader and a couple of his stormtroopers invaded and our little padawans had to use their training to defeat the Lord Vader.
We did a few other fun things at Hollywood Studios such as a cool Star Wars ride, a 3-D Muppet Movie and a Frozen sing-along. We finished with a 50’s Diner lunch at Prime Time Cafe. Milkshakes and Sundaes for all.
