The second day at the Magic Kingdom was an amazing marathon. We arrived at 8:30 am and stayed until after the Main Street Electric Parade and the fireworks. We never would have planned such a long day but the kids were having so much fun, they didn’t want it to end.
Chloe Jane wanted a faster ride so I took her on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This is her on the ride becoming a little apprehensive about what’s to come. You can see the dread on her face, but you can’t hear her shouting at me, “Dad, you’re going to drop your phone! I warned you!”
Captain Jack Sparrow put on a sword fighting demonstration for kids (in case the kids are without a light saber, they can grab a cutlass and be just fine).
This was also our first dinner at the Beast’s “Be Our Guest” restaurant.
We ate in the West Wing and tried not to disturb the rose.
And we got to meet the Beast!
Before leaving Fantasyland for a spot on Main Street for the parade, we visited the carousel and if you look hard enough, you’ll see a rainbow over Fantasyland.
The kids were tired but it was a thrill to watch the iconic Main Street Electric Parade followed by the castle magic animation and fireworks.
