This Saturday, we went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden so the kids could meet St. Nick. The Garden was festive decked in poinsettias and a large Christmas tree. They also had a train that kids could ride around the garden.
Cara met Santa for the first time and they got along splendidly. Chloe Jane, on the other hand, still had not warmed up to the white-bearded, sneak-in-your-home-while-you’re-sleeping-gift-giver. But after some encouragement from Dad, Chloe Jane was at least willing to meet the well-intentioned man half way and tell him what she wanted for Christmas . . .
. . . as long as she could do it from Daddy’s lap.
