We had a fun Valentines Day weekend.  On Friday, Chloe Jane and Cara wore matching Valentines dresses.  I took some photos of them that morning before Chloe Jane went to pre-school and before I went to work.  On Saturday, Chloe Jane and Cara woke up to blueberry pancakes, kiwi, and a table of goodies.  Later that day, we took the kids to the circus–first time they ever went to a circus.  We watched clowns, jugglers, a woman on a flying trapeze, performing dogs, and a  (low) wire act all with a kid in each lap.  After intermission, we all shared a funnel cake  (yes, even Cara–who doesn’t love a funnel cake).  On the way home, we stopped for dinner at Steak and Shake.  All and all not nearly as romantic as a good many of our previous Valentines days but a heap of fun all the same.  The next day Chloe Jane decorated and then promptly ate some Valentines cookies while Cara looked on.  Isn’t it romantic?
