This year we took the family on a much planned for, much anticipated trip to the Magic Kingdom. The girls didn’t know much about what to expect but they knew this was the place where princesses live so they came to the Magic Kingdom on day one dressed like princesses. My parents were great in coming down to Orlando to help take care of Tommy, but this is the only day you won’t find him in the photos. He made it to the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom for each day after day one. The truth is, Tommy will still get his first day at the Magic Kingdom. He was old enough to have fun, but young enough that the next time will the first time for him.
As for the girls, however, they were old enough to appreciate and be awed by the whole Disney experience. It’s a certainty that there will be other trips to Disney, but for Chloe Jane and Cara, there will never be another first time at Disney. I’m glad I was there for it.
