The Pier at Folly Beach
This summer, Ruth and I left our two little ones with my parents and the two of us spent three days in Charleston, South Carolina. We visited nearby Folly Beach one afternoon for sun and sand. Both of us loved Charleston. We spent a lot of time walking around the town–eating great seafood, shopping, and looking at the historical sites. One night we went on a ghost tour of Charleston which was good spooky fun and, on our last night, we took a sunset sail around the harbor and then had champagne at the historic Peninsula Grille. Charleston should be on everyone’s list of places to visit.
