Each day, before leaving our resort, we started the morning out posing in front of one of the cars characters. This morning it was Doc Hudson.
On to the Magic Kingdom! We arrived at the Magic Kingdom shortly after rope drop and headed straight for New Fantasyland. We started out at Belle’s Storytime. It’s an interactive story with Belle. The kids are given small roles in the story and Belle interacts with them as Lumiere narrates the story. Cara was Ms. Teapot and Chloe Jane was the feather duster. Tommy had the honor of dancing with Belle. The boy who was supposed to be the the Beast kind of disappeared at the wrong moment when Belle needed to dance with the Beast. Tommy happened to run through the storytelling trying to get to Mommy so Belle grabbed his hands and danced around the room with him for awhile. I grabbed some great shots as Tommy seemed to be in awe of the beautiful Belle.
After our story time experience with Belle, we went under the sea with Ariel on the Little Mermaid ride.
After our Little Mermaid experience (and a stop for snacks), we returned to the original Fantasyland to ride some of the iconic Magic Kingdom rides: Dumbo, the Teacups and it’s a small world before making our way to lunch.

For lunch, we had reservations at the Chrystal Palace which hosts a character lunch with the characters from Winnie the Pooh. It was a beautiful facility and the kids enjoyed the characters coming by their table for autographs, photos and hugs.

After lunch, we had an appointment at the new Princess Hall with Rapunzel and Snow White. The line at this time was over an hour, but we got to waltz right ahead because of the Fastpass+ reservations we could make ahead of time with our Magic Bands. In the Princess Hall, the kids got to see the famous glass slipper on display and then meet two princesses.

Afterwards, we rode the Regal Carousel and then stopped on Main Street for an ice cream treat. I had made reservations for us all, with the Magic Bands of course, for a prime spot near the castle to view the revival of the Main Street Electrical Parade, but that was ambitious of me. The kids–especially Tommy–we’re tired and it was time to go back to the resort.
