On Saturday, June 2, Zoo Atlanta invited all Northside Hospital alumni babies born this year to a free visit to the zoo. It was from 6:00 to 8:00 and was not crowded at all. They were also feeding many of the animals so you had a chance to see them closer and more active than you do when you visit the zoo in the middle of the day. It was the best view I’ve had of the pandas especially the baby panda. I got a great shot of the baby panda. One of the adult pandas put his nose right up to Chloe Jane’s nose (behind glass of course), but unfortunately, I missed the shot because I was waiting for the baby panda to turn around. At the petting zoo, Chloe Jane was fascinated with all the goats and sheep but never actually pet any of them. I’m sure we’ll be back again soon.
Here’s a slideshow of our day at the zoo.
Here’s the smugmug gallery of the photos from the zoo.
Doesn’t seem that long ago that we went with her on her very FIRST visit to the zoo! She was such a good girl in her stroller!! Looks like she enjoyed the water and the fan as much as the animals! Thanks for sharing…
