When I was in college, some friends of mine convinced me to jump out of a plane. Afterwards, they convinced me that anyone can muster the courage to do it once, but only a few would go back and do it again.

So it was with our second time around bringing our three little ones to Disney.

My sister Karen forwarded me a link to Disney’s new budget resort: Art of Animation which focused on family theme-related suites such as “Finding Nemo” “Cars” “The Lion King” and “The Little Mermaid.” It also had a huge zero-depth pool. I booked it the next day.

Before checking into Art of Animation, we stopped by Downtown Disney for lunch at the T-Rex Cafe and dessert at Goofy’s Candy Factory. Poor Tommy was not prepared for the dinosaurs in the cafe. When the T-Rex next to our table began to roar and move its head from side to side, Tommy jumped into Mommy’s lap screaming and pointing at the monster, “T-Rex! T-Rex! T-Rex!” He thought it was incredibly dangerous to be dining so close to a hungry T-Rex. He eventually calmed down until Chloe Jane and Cara went in for a closer look at the animatronic dinosaur and he cried, “Sisters! T-Rex! Sisters! T-Rex!”

After lunch, we went to a much less scary place where the kids could pick out a dessert and watch it being made and decorated.
